Aspen Standard Wealth acquired Cullen Investment Group, a Lafayette, Louisiana-based registered investment adviser with more than $1 billion in assets under management. Cullen was founded in 1986 and operates as an independent, full-service wealth management firm.
The firm uses a disciplined value investment approach and customized portfolios designed to help clients grow and preserve wealth.
Cullen also emphasizes personalized service and long-term client relationships.
The acquisition adds Cullen to Aspen Standard Wealth’s growing network of independent RIAs.
Aspen focuses on acquiring successful advisory firms, giving them a permanent home while letting leadership teams maintain operational independence.
The firm said its model centers on long-term alignment, preserving each firm’s identity, supporting leadership, and helping RIAs pursue sustainable growth.
Under Aspen’s ownership, Cullen will gain access to additional resources and capabilities while continuing to serve clients under its existing approach.
Cullen is based in Lafayette and has longstanding ties to the South Louisiana financial community.
The firm was established as Lafayette’s locally owned and operated full-service brokerage firm before developing into its current RIA structure.
Aspen said the partnership is intended to preserve Cullen’s legacy while supporting future growth and talent development.
