Assort Health: $102 Million Funding Raised To Transform Patient Experience with AI-Powered Platform

By Amit Chowdhry ● Oct 3, 2025

Assort Health, a patient experience platform powered by specialty-specific agentic AI, has announced the close of a $76 million Series B funding round. The round was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with additional investments from Felicis, First Round Capital, Chemistry, A*, Liquid2, and Quiet Capital. This latest funding brings the company’s total to $102 million, following a Series A round just four months earlier.

Assort Health is tackling one of the most frustrating aspects of modern healthcare: the difficulty of scheduling and managing doctor appointments. Patients often face long hold times, disconnected calls, multiple transfers, and repeated requests for the same information. These inefficiencies lead to missed appointments and incomplete care. According to the American Academy of Physician Associates, U.S. adults spend the equivalent of a full workday each month navigating healthcare logistics for themselves and their families.

Assort Health’s platform, Assort OS, has already handled tens of millions of patient interactions across thousands of providers. It goes beyond appointment scheduling to improve every touchpoint in the patient journey, including care navigation, lab testing, prescription renewals, and referrals. The company’s AI agents integrate directly into electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) systems, using natural language processing to streamline communication and resolve inquiries without burdening front office staff.

Healthcare providers are under increasing pressure from reduced reimbursements, rising costs, and staffing shortages. Assort Health offers a technology-driven solution that helps facilities maintain timely and reliable patient access. Its AI agents have reduced patient call wait times by 89% and significantly cut delays in care. The platform supports omnichannel communication and is tailored to the specific needs of each provider, making it a powerful alternative to traditional telemedicine tools.

Assort’s rapid growth is fueled by a culture of execution and a deep commitment to both patient and customer experience. Internal metrics show its engineering team operating at the 100th percentile of velocity, enabling fast iteration and deployment of new features.

With the new funding, Assort Health plans to expand its team and accelerate development of its platform, further enhancing its capabilities and reach. The company is positioning itself as a foundational layer in healthcare operations, aiming to make patient access seamless, efficient, and human-centered.

New board members: As part of the deal, Galym Imanbayev of Lightspeed will join the board, and Paul Ricci, founding CEO of Nuance, will serve as a board advisor.
