Astreya, an AI-first global IT managed services and solutions provider, announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Reliant Information Services from the Reliant Group, marking Astreya’s first business acquisition.
Astreya said Reliant Information Services has spent more than a decade supporting Fortune 500 enterprises with scalable managed IT services and managed technical expertise for mission-critical operations, including complex, high-availability environments across key markets in the western United States. Astreya said the deal will add experience serving enterprise customers with stringent operational, security, and compliance requirements.
Astreya said the acquisition expands its presence in the airline industry and strengthens its managed IT services capabilities for stakeholders, where operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and service reliability are essential. The combined organization is expected to offer broader geographic coverage, including the Pacific Northwest and Southwest United States, along with deeper domain expertise and expanded delivery capabilities to support increasingly complex technology environments.
As part of the transaction, Astreya said the Reliant Information Services leadership team will join Astreya, with Jesse Perbix, president of Reliant Information Services, serving as general manager of RIS to support continuity for customers, partners, and employees. Astreya said Scott Nguyen, CEO of Reliant Group, will serve as an advisor to Reliant Information Services following the transaction.
Astreya said it will continue pursuing strategic investments to strengthen industry expertise, expand its global footprint, and accelerate innovation, while focusing on measurable value, operational resilience, and trusted partnerships for enterprise customers.
