Astrotech Corporation announced it has increased the size of its Board of Directors from five to six members and appointed Matt Kreps as a director. Kreps brings extensive experience in financial and capital markets, having led investor relations and equity capital markets programs for publicly traded companies across multiple exchanges and jurisdictions.
Kreps currently serves as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. and has served as Managing Director at Darrow Associates Investor Relations since 2016. He previously held senior investor relations roles at Shelton Group from 2009 to 2016, Magnolia Investor Relations from 2007 to 2009, and Halliburton Investor Relations from 2001 to 2007. He holds an Executive MBA in Global Leadership from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Kansas State University.
Astrotech operates through several wholly owned subsidiaries, including 1st Detect, which develops trace detection systems for explosives and narcotics; AgLAB, which designs process analyzers for biomass essential oils; Pro-Control, which produces autonomous process control solutions using gas chromatography and mass spectrometry; and EN-SCAN, which delivers portable environmental testing systems. The company said it is currently evaluating opportunities to develop and commercialize advanced technologies for space, defense, and industrial markets.
