Auditoria Expands Workday Cash Cycle AI Platform As Annual Agentic Transaction Processing Approaches $50 Billion

Auditoria.AI has expanded its autonomous Cash Cycle offering for Workday Financial Management customers, bringing together agentic accounts payable and accounts receivable operations, SmartResearch intelligence and finance-led governance through its Agent Policies technology.

The expansion comes as Auditoria approaches $50 billion in annual agentic transaction processing across AP and AR, with more than 20,000 finance professionals across 30 countries now working with the company’s AI agents.

Auditoria is positioning the expanded platform as a way for finance organizations to move beyond deploying individual AI tools for isolated tasks and instead apply autonomous agents across a connected financial workflow.

The company’s Cash Cycle platform connects the work performed by AI agents across accounts payable and accounts receivable with the financial information teams use for decision-making and the controls that govern how those agents operate.

AP and AR currently form the foundation of the platform.

Auditoria’s roadmap calls for additional agents and use cases spanning the general ledger, treasury and financial planning and analysis, potentially extending automation across a larger portion of the Office of the CFO.

Auditoria is also a founding member of Workday’s AI Agent Partner Network.

Its agents are registered with Workday’s Agent System of Record and are available through the Workday Marketplace.

Through certified integrations with Workday, Auditoria is bringing its existing AP and AR automation capabilities to Workday Financial Management customers while expanding the range of financial processes that can be handled through agentic AI.

A central part of the expanded offering is Auditoria’s Agent Policies capability.

Agent Policies allows finance teams to establish the rules, approvals and governance requirements that determine what autonomous agents can do and how they should operate.

Rather than separating AI governance from financial operations, Auditoria is placing those controls closer to the finance employees responsible for the underlying business processes and outcomes.

The company’s AI Outcomes team works with enterprise customers to determine which processes are appropriate for autonomous execution and establish controls before those workflows are moved into production.

The approach is designed to address a growing issue for enterprises adopting agentic AI: determining not only what an AI system is capable of performing but also what it should be permitted to perform without direct human intervention.

Finance departments face particularly significant requirements around auditability, transparency, approvals and internal controls, making governance an important component of deploying autonomous systems in areas involving cash and financial transactions.

Auditoria is also expanding SmartResearch beyond financial research and insights.

The platform can now operate across AP and AR through a skill builder that enables finance employees to create repeatable processes and reporting workflows using natural language.

New SmartResearch capabilities include a document vault, additional customization and tools giving finance departments more control over how SmartResearch works within their environments and which actions it can perform across accounts payable and receivable.

Auditoria plans to extend SmartResearch into general ledger, treasury and FP&A information and workflows over time.

That expansion would broaden the company’s autonomous Cash Cycle model beyond its current AP and AR foundation and allow finance teams to apply the same intelligence and governance framework to additional financial functions.

Auditoria will showcase the expanded capabilities at Workday Rising 2026, scheduled for October 12 through October 15.

The company will participate in sessions focused on owning the cash cycle and how AI agents are transforming enterprise finance.

Auditoria is also offering new Workday Financial Management customers the opportunity to test SmartResearch free for two months through the end of 2026, along with limited-time pricing on annual commitments.

Founded in 2019, Auditoria develops agentic AI technology specifically for finance organizations.

Its platform automates and optimizes AP and AR cash flow processes while maintaining controls intended to support financial accuracy and auditability.

The company’s technology integrates with enterprise resource planning platforms including Workday and uses foundational AI models from providers including OpenAI, Google and Anthropic.

KEY QUOTES:

“Finance already has plenty of AI tools solving individual problems. The bigger opportunity is to give the CFO a way to manage the cash cycle as one connected operation. With Workday, we are extending what agents can do across AP and AR while keeping finance in control of the rules that govern how the work gets done. We are now processing tens of billions of dollars in transactions this way, and that tells us customers are ready to move beyond AI pilots and start putting agents into real financial operations.”

Rohit Gupta, CEO and Co-Founder of Auditoria

“Workday Financial Management gives finance teams a strong foundation for managing their financial operations, and Auditoria extends that value into day-to-day work across AP and AR. By bringing agentic capabilities into these processes, Auditoria gives Workday customers ways to act on financial information and manage more of the cash cycle than they have ever been able to before.”

Tim Wakeford, VP Financials Product Strategy at Workday

“The conversation around enterprise AI is rapidly shifting from what AI can do to how it should be governed. Finance organizations operate in an environment where transparency, control, and auditability are essential. As AI agents begin taking more active roles in business processes, those same principles must be embedded into the operating model. By bringing policy-driven governance closer to finance users, Auditoria is helping organizations adopt agentic AI responsibly while maintaining confidence in outcomes.”

Mike Kokotajlo, KPMG Advisory Partner and Finance Transformation Leader

“The complexity of our processes requires knowledge that is distributed across people and systems. The ability to easily embed this knowledge and logic with Auditoria’s approach to governed autonomy now provides a practical way to use automation, giving us durability, control, and visibility across our AP processes.”
