Auria, a provider of command, control, and communications (C3) software and solutions for advanced space and missile operations, has acquired BCubed Engineering Corporation. Auria is backed by Enlightenment Capital.
The deal adds BCubed’s end-to-end, software-defined C3 capabilities supporting customers, including the U.S. Space Force, Special Operations Command, and the Intelligence Community. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Warrenton, Virginia, BCubed develops software-defined satellite communications, digital ground systems, and cloud-native command-and-control platforms to enable resilient, integrated operations across space, ground, and tactical environments.
Auria said the combination expands its software and hardware product set across the C3 continuum, linking space mission and ground station technologies to the tactical edge within a unified operational architecture. The combined portfolio is positioned to move mission data and tasking from enterprise command layers through operational ground systems to forward-deployed end users, with the stated goal of enabling faster decision-making, greater mission agility, and resilient execution in contested and denied tactical environments.
Following the acquisition, Auria said it now has more than 500 employees across locations, including Colorado Springs and Boulder in Colorado, Washington, DC, Huntsville in Alabama, Albuquerque in New Mexico, Ogden in Utah, and San Diego in California.
