Autodesk Names Diana Colella As Executive Vice President Of AEC Business

Autodesk named Diana Colella Executive Vice President of its Architecture, Engineering and Construction business. Colella succeeds Amy Bunszel, who previously announced her retirement and will remain with Autodesk through November 2, 2026 to support the leadership transition.

Colella will oversee Autodesk’s largest industry business as the company expands its strategy around artificial intelligence and Autodesk Forma.

Forma is Autodesk’s industry cloud for architecture, engineering, and construction and is designed to connect data, context, and workflows across the project lifecycle.

Colella will advance Autodesk’s Forma strategy while continuing development of established desktop products including Revit and Civil 3D.

The company plans to connect those products more closely with Forma workflows.

Autodesk believes bringing together data generated throughout the project lifecycle can make artificial intelligence more useful for customers by reducing friction, supporting better decisions, and increasing design and construction capacity.

Colella brings nearly three decades of leadership experience at Autodesk spanning finance, strategy, sales, operations, product management, and industry leadership.

She joined Autodesk through its acquisition of Discreet Logic.

Colella previously led the AutoCAD business and helped launch One AutoCAD.

Most recently, she led the AI transformation of Autodesk’s Media & Entertainment business.

Her work there included advancing the Flow platform and overseeing expansion through acquisitions including Moxion, PIX, and Wonder Dynamics.
