Automation Anywhere announced that it has appointed Srikanth Iyengar as Head of Growth for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
In this role, Iyengar will help accelerate enterprise adoption of AI-powered automation across the region. His focus will include organizations in sectors such as IT service management, banking, financial services, and insurance.
Automation Anywhere said enterprises are entering a new phase of AI adoption, moving beyond isolated pilots and individual productivity tools toward what it describes as the Autonomous Enterprise. This model brings together people, AI agents, automation, and systems to execute business processes with greater speed, intelligence, accountability, and governance.
The company’s Agentic Process Automation platform is designed to support this shift by combining orchestration, contextual intelligence, and centralized governance. The platform helps enterprises move AI from experimentation into end-to-end process automation while maintaining control and oversight.
Automation Anywhere said demand for this approach is especially clear in sectors such as banking, financial services, insurance, and IT service management, where organizations often face complex operations, regulatory requirements, fragmented technology environments, and pressure to improve productivity without adding more standalone tools.
Across EMEA, large and highly regulated organizations are seeking practical ways to turn AI ambition into operational impact. Automation Anywhere said one of England’s largest hospital groups is using Agentic Process Automation to redesign administrative operations, with a goal of making up to 70% of administrative work autonomous. Expected benefits include reduced time-to-recruit and lower temporary staffing costs.
Iyengar brings more than two decades of experience across enterprise technology, services, sales, and workforce transformation. He recently led platform rationalization for a large global financial services organization, a project spanning multiple divisions and involving process optimization, data standardization, and AI adoption. The effort generated more than double-digit million-dollar savings.
Previously, Iyengar served as Chief Executive Officer of upGrad Enterprise. He also held senior leadership roles at Conduent, Capgemini, and Infosys, including global and EMEA-focused roles across business development and regional market leadership.
Automation Anywhere said Iyengar’s experience across enterprise technology, services, and financial services gives him direct context for the operating challenges the company is addressing through its Agentic Process Automation platform and autonomous solutions.
The appointment strengthens Automation Anywhere’s EMEA leadership as organizations across the region evaluate how to responsibly scale AI-powered automation across teams, systems, and enterprise processes.
