Automation Anywhere announced EnterpriseClaw, a new capability developed in collaboration with Cisco, NVIDIA, Okta, and OpenAI that is designed to bring claw-style AI agents into enterprise operations. The company said EnterpriseClaw enables organizations to deploy autonomous AI agents across cloud platforms, desktops, on-premises systems, and secure enterprise networks while maintaining centralized orchestration, governance, observability, and control.
According to Automation Anywhere, the platform addresses limitations of existing claw-style AI agents that are often designed for individual users or isolated cloud environments. EnterpriseClaw is intended to support enterprise-wide workflows that span teams, infrastructure, and regulated systems while keeping sensitive data inside secured enterprise environments.
The company said EnterpriseClaw integrates with Automation Anywhere’s Process Reasoning Engine (PRE) and Contextual Intelligence Graph, allowing AI agents to operate with greater process awareness, accuracy, and contextual understanding for mission-critical enterprise tasks.
Automation Anywhere highlighted use cases such as investigating customer claims by collecting information across desktop applications, internal documents, cloud services, and on-premises systems without exposing sensitive operational, healthcare, or financial data outside secure enterprise networks.
The company described EnterpriseClaw as foundational for enabling Autonomous Enterprise operations, where AI systems execute work across interconnected enterprise environments rather than operating solely within isolated tools.
EnterpriseClaw is powered by Automation Anywhere’s hybrid cloud-native deployment architecture and incorporates technology from multiple enterprise partners:
- Cisco AI Defense and DefenseClaw provide security capabilities designed specifically for AI agents.
- NVIDIA contributes OpenShell, an open-source runtime designed for autonomous AI agents, along with NVIDIA NIM microservices and NVIDIA Nemotron open models for on-premises deployments.
- Okta provides identity management, authentication, and policy enforcement controls for AI agents.
- OpenAI models, including GPT-5.5, will support enterprise workflow execution within EnterpriseClaw deployments.
Automation Anywhere also said EnterpriseClaw is designed to support internally developed AI agents and third-party agent frameworks, enabling organizations to manage AI agents alongside existing enterprise automations.
The company confirmed EnterpriseClaw is currently available in preview, with general availability expected later this year.
KEY QUOTES:
“For AI to have a transformational impact on business, it needs to be able to do work where the work actually happens. Many claw-style AI agents are incredibly powerful, but most were designed for isolated environments or individual users, while enterprise operations span teams, cloud platforms, desktops, on-premises systems, and highly regulated infrastructure. EnterpriseClaw is designed to unlock the potential of these next-generation AI agents for real enterprise operations. We’re excited to collaborate with Cisco, NVIDIA, Okta, and OpenAI, whose technologies help support the security, identity, intelligence, and infrastructure requirements of enterprise-grade agentic systems.”
Mihir Shukla, CEO and Board Chairman, Automation Anywhere
“The widespread use of AI agents introduces an entirely new attack surface, making proactive, integrated security non-negotiable for enterprise adoption. By incorporating Cisco AI Defense, EnterpriseClaw gains a comprehensive security layer designed specifically for agents. This allows businesses to innovate with autonomous AI confidently, knowing they are protected from development through deployment.”
Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer, Cisco
“Enterprises are deploying AI agents across their most critical workflows, and the question is no longer whether agents can do the work, but whether they can be trusted to do it safely. NVIDIA OpenShell and NVIDIA Nemotron models provide the secure runtime and intelligent foundation for Automation Anywhere’s EnterpriseClaw, enabling organizations to build and deploy autonomous, self-evolving agents with greater control, transparency and performance.”
Kari Briski, Vice President of Generative AI, NVIDIA
“The future of technology is agentic, and as AI agents proliferate, they will act with more autonomy, connect to more resources, and operate on behalf of more people and organizations. AI Agents must have first-class identities. Okta’s integration with EnterpriseClaw will ensure agents operate with the same rigorous authentication and least-privilege authorization applied to humans and give companies granular control and clear oversight as they embrace agentic automation.”
Ely Kahn, Chief Product Officer, Okta
“AI agents are quickly evolving from experimentation into real enterprise workflows. With the OpenAI models enterprises are already using, EnterpriseClaw enables organizations to bring frontier AI capabilities into agentic systems for regulated and mission-critical processes across their preferred environments.”
Jason Lee, Head of Enterprise, Technology, OpenAI
