AutoRek has acquired Grath, expanding its financial reconciliation and control platform with additional artificial intelligence and regulatory compliance capabilities. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Grath is a London-based fintech company serving banks, payment providers, brokers and other financial technology businesses from offices in the U.K., United Arab Emirates and Australia.
The company develops reconciliation and compliance technology designed to automate transaction matching and exception handling.
Earlier in 2026, Grath launched Topa, which combines a matching engine, financial services-trained machine learning models and an agentic reasoning layer.
Topa can be embedded into customers’ internal systems, allowing firms to build proprietary reconciliation processes while maintaining control over their technology architecture.
The combined company will offer customers three deployment options.
AutoRek’s enterprise private-cloud platform is intended for organizations with high transaction volumes, complex datasets and stringent regulatory requirements.
Grath’s multi-tenant software-as-a-service platform is designed for fast-growing customers seeking faster deployment and governance aligned with Financial Conduct Authority expectations.
Topa provides embedded AI infrastructure for customers developing reconciliation capabilities inside their own systems.
The acquisition also expands AutoRek’s international footprint by adding Grath clients in the U.S. and the Middle East.
AutoRek serves more than 100 clients in 15 countries and employs over 170 people across five locations.
