Auxxo has announced a significant milestone: the first closing of the Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund II at €26 million, with the European Investment Fund (EIF) joining as an anchor investor. Other significant investors, including Aurum Impact, Cherry Ventures, Speedinvest, various family offices, business angels, and founders from across Europe, also joined.

The firm said: “This marks a huge step forward on our mission: driving equitable participation of women as founders and investors in venture capital. Over 50% of our LPs are women, and behind the capital is a belief in a different kind of future: one where diversity drives performance, and bold, visionary women shape the next era of European innovation.”

And with this new fund, the firm is doubling down on its thesis, which is backing and uniting “the strongest female co-founded startups across Europe in pre-seed and seed stages.”

The firm has already started investing from the Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund II as follows:

1.) Emidat (co-founded by Lisa Oberaigner and Florian Fesch) – A company that is pioneering environmental data for construction materials and building products.

2.) Resolutiion (founded by Fayola-Maria Jack, PC.dp., MBA, PhDc) – Uses AI to revolutionize how commercial disputes are resolved.

3.) Stanhope A (founded by Rosalyn Moran) – Enables autonomous real-time machine learning through cutting-edge neuroscience.

This new fund has a target of up to €50 million, and it is dedicated to investing exclusively in early-stage startups in Europe that have at least one female founder holding at least 20% of the founder shares.
