AvAir has acquired Full Stop Technics, expanding its aviation aftermarket platform with certified wheel and brake maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities.
The acquisition adds FAA- and EASA-certified MRO services to AvAir’s existing inventory solutions business. By bringing Full Stop Technics into its platform, AvAir will be able to combine its large component inventory with in-house repair and overhaul support for wheels and brakes.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Full Stop Technics is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has nearly four decades of experience serving commercial airlines, regional operators, and cargo carriers. The company provides wheel and brake maintenance, parts supply, repair and overhaul services.
AvAir said the transaction will enable it to offer customers a more integrated process spanning component sourcing, inspection, repair, overhaul and delivery. The added capabilities are expected to shorten turnaround times and give airlines and maintenance providers access to both replacement inventory and certified technical services through a single aftermarket partner.
The acquisition follows AvAir’s recent purchase of more than 1,600 wheels and brakes from Lufthansa Technik. AvAir said bringing wheel and brake MRO services in-house will allow it to better support that inventory position while increasing the speed and flexibility of its customer offerings.
The transaction also reflects AvAir’s broader strategy of adding services that complement its aviation component inventory and distribution operations.
The company works with airlines, original equipment manufacturers and MRO providers to purchase, sell, exchange, loan, lease and consign aviation components. AvAir maintains an inventory of more than 26 million in-stock components.
Adding Full Stop Technics gives AvAir greater control over the repair process for wheel and brake components. Rather than coordinating with separate third-party service providers, customers will be able to source components and arrange certified repairs through the same organization.
Wheel and brake systems are essential aircraft components that require regular inspection, maintenance and replacement. Operators depend on reliable MRO providers to ensure that these systems comply with safety and regulatory standards while minimizing aircraft downtime.
Full Stop Technics holds certifications from both the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. The dual certifications allow the company to support aircraft operators and customers across multiple jurisdictions.
AvAir expects Full Stop Technics’ technical expertise and established customer relationships to support the continued expansion of its global aftermarket business.
The acquisition comes as AvAir also expands its physical distribution network. The company recently opened its third facility in Dallas, Texas, near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.
The Dallas location increases AvAir’s capacity in North America and places inventory near one of the world’s largest aviation hubs. The facility is intended to support faster component distribution and improve access for airline, OEM and MRO customers.
AvAir is headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, and was founded in 2000. The company celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2025.
Its inventory and supply-chain services are designed to help aviation customers manage excess components, obtain replacement parts and reduce the capital required to maintain spare-parts inventories.
The addition of Full Stop Technics expands AvAir beyond component availability into a more comprehensive aftermarket service model. Customers will now have access to certified wheel and brake repairs alongside AvAir’s inventory, exchange and leasing solutions.
The companies said they share a focus on responsive customer service, technical precision and quality. Full Stop Technics will gain access to AvAir’s inventory scale, global customer relationships and distribution infrastructure as part of the combined platform.
AvAir holds ISO 9001, AS9120 and ASA 100 certifications. The company has also received industry recognition for its aviation parts supply operations and sustainability initiatives.
