By Amit Chowdhry • Today at 8:39 PM

AVIAN announced a $2.6 million funding round led by Founderful to accelerate its mission of preventing fires and downtime in critical industrial operations.

The company said its thermal monitoring technology has already been deployed worldwide, helping manufacturers monitor infrastructure and maintain uptime in industries where fire risks and operational disruptions can have major consequences.

In a LinkedIn announcement, Drew Hanover highlighted the growing number of industrial fires, including incidents at Robbins Lumber, Zavisha Sawmill, and hundreds of recycling facility fires reported across the United States last year. The company’s focus is on helping industrial operators detect risks earlier and protect critical infrastructure and workforce operations.

AVIAN develops AI-powered industrial thermal monitoring systems designed to identify abnormal heat patterns before smoke or flames appear. The company serves sectors including wood processing, recycling, food, gas, and other industrial environments where predictive maintenance and early fire detection are critical.

The funding will support the expansion of AVIAN’s engineering and sales teams across the United States and Europe.
