Avidian Wealth Solutions has announced a strategic partnership with Troy Taylor, CFP, bringing him into the firm as a Partner and Senior Wealth Advisor. The Houston-based, employee-owned fiduciary wealth manager said the move adds an experienced advisor and leader to its growing team as it continues to expand its platform and client service capabilities.
Avidian Chairman and CEO Luke Patterson said Taylor’s leadership experience, client focus, and integrity align with the firm’s emphasis on trust, credibility, and transparency. Taylor most recently served as a Senior Wealth Advisor and Team Lead at Linscomb Wealth, where he participated in multiple internal committees spanning wealth management, services and systems, family office initiatives, and investment oversight. Avidian said his work included contributions to firm-wide strategy, enhancements to client service, and investment oversight.
Before Linscomb, Taylor spent a decade leading a team of advisors within a national bank’s private wealth services group, focused on comprehensive strategies for high-net-worth clients and complex financial planning needs.
Taylor said joining Avidian will broaden what he can offer clients, citing the firm’s team of Certified Financial Planners, investment specialists, and MBAs, as well as its fiduciary resources and family office-style services. He will initially be based in San Antonio and is expected to transition to a permanent office at Avidian’s main Houston branch in late April 2026.
Avidian also highlighted Taylor’s background as a U.S. Navy veteran and his community involvement, including service on the Advisory Board and Development Committee of Child Advocates and prior board service with Interfaith Caring Ministries. Taylor holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA in Pre-Law Social Sciences from Chapman University.
