Atlanta-Based Cloud Contact Center Company AVOXI Raises $10 Million

Atlanta, Georgia-based Communications as a Service (CaaS) company AVOXI has announced it has raised $10 million in funding from Ballast Point Ventures.

“AVOXI is on a roll,” said David Wise, AVOXI founder and CEO in a statement. “And this investment is a testament to the work of our entire team. The financing helps fuel the opportunities we have to expand our offerings to serve the contact center needs of our customers around the globe.”

With this funding round, AVOXI will be using the funding to accelerate product development, sales, and marketing. And the company is going to expand its global reach and virtual number and cloud contact center service portfolio.

AVOXI — which was founded in 2001 — combines international virtual number services with cloud communications solutions to power more than 2,400 corporate contact centers across the globe. And AVOXI’s cloud contact center solutions provide clients with predictive technology and tools to help them operate efficiently. The company also runs an innovation center in Charleston, South Carolina.

We see significant growth opportunities in all phases of the AVOXI business.” Johan is joining AVOXI’s board of directors in conjunction with this funding round.
