Avride, a leading developer of autonomous driving technologies, announced it has secured up to $375 million in strategic investments and commercial commitments from Uber Technologies and Nebius Group. The deal represents a major step in accelerating Avride’s commercial growth, expanding its product portfolio, and scaling operations globally.
The investment builds on Avride’s existing partnership with Uber, which began with a multi-year strategic agreement signed in 2024. The collaboration aims to integrate Avride’s autonomous technology into Uber’s global mobility and delivery platforms. The company plans to launch its first robotaxi service on the Uber platform in Dallas by the end of 2025, marking a significant milestone in bringing autonomous vehicles to everyday riders.
Avride’s autonomous delivery robots are already active across Jersey City, Austin, and Dallas, where they fulfill orders through the Uber Eats platform for hundreds of restaurant partners. The new capital will accelerate the deployment of Avride’s autonomous fleet, support AI-driven R&D, and enable the company to expand into new geographies and applications.
