Avride: Up To $375 Million Secured From Uber And Nebius To Advance Autonomous Mobility Expansion

By Amit Chowdhry • Oct 22, 2025

Avride, a leading U.S.-based developer of autonomous driving technologies, announced that it has secured strategic investments and commercial commitments totaling up to $375 million from Uber Technologies and Nebius Group.

The new funding will accelerate Avride’s growth across autonomous mobility and delivery services while deepening its partnership with Uber in both passenger and logistics applications.

The investment follows the multi-year strategic agreement signed between Avride and Uber in 2024, establishing a foundation for deploying autonomous transportation solutions on Uber’s global platform. Under this expanded partnership, Avride plans to launch its robotaxi service on the Uber app in Dallas by the end of 2025, bringing autonomous rides to more users across the U.S.

Avride’s delivery robots are already integrated with Uber Eats, successfully fulfilling restaurant orders in Jersey City, Austin, and Dallas. The new capital will enable Avride to scale its autonomous vehicle fleet, accelerate AI-driven product development, and support expansion into new markets and regions.

The deal reflects Uber’s continued push into the autonomous mobility space, aligning with its long-term strategy to integrate advanced self-driving technologies into its ride-hailing and delivery networks.

Avride, founded in 2017, has built a unique model by developing and operating both autonomous vehicles and delivery robots that share common technologies. This cross-domain synergy allows the company to continuously enhance its algorithms, safety systems, and efficiency—accelerating innovation across product lines.

Based in Austin, Texas, Avride also maintains global R&D hubs dedicated to advancing AI-based perception, navigation, and control systems. Its autonomous delivery robots have already completed hundreds of thousands of orders in the U.S. and abroad, demonstrating both reliability and scalability of its platform. The latest funding marks a significant step toward Avride’s goal of transforming how people and goods move through cities.
