AxisCare Expands Home Care Software Platform Following Strategic Partnership With Frontier Growth

AxisCare announced it has broadened its home care technology platform and service offerings following its strategic partnership with Frontier Growth, which made a minority investment in the company in March 2024. The Waco, Texas-based home care management software provider said the partnership has helped accelerate product development, expand services, and strengthen its role as a technology partner for home care agencies seeking operational efficiency and growth.

As part of the investment, Frontier Growth Partner Dave Pandullo and operating executive Chris Fountain joined AxisCare’s board of directors. AxisCare said Pandullo brings decades of healthcare IT investing experience, while Fountain adds operating experience from franchise and post-acute care SaaS companies.

AxisCare also highlighted the acquisition of a revenue cycle management company that specializes in Medicaid and VA billing for home care agencies. The company said the deal is intended to pair its home care software with full-service billing support and deepen its ability to help agencies manage cash flow and reimbursement complexity.

On the product side, AxisCare introduced AxisCare Intelligence, a suite of AI-powered tools designed to reduce administrative workload and streamline workflows across scheduling, documentation, compliance, and business analytics. The company also said it has continued investing in enterprise capabilities for larger multi-location organizations and agencies with multiple service lines, including expanded support for providers serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. AxisCare cited Person-Centered Plans as an example of functionality designed to help agencies document individualized services more efficiently and support compliance with Medicaid and state funding requirements.

AxisCare said it now supports more than 3,900 home care agencies and estimates that roughly $8 billion in annual services are managed through its platform. The company also cited recent industry recognitions from G2, TrustRadius, the Cloud Awards, MedTech Breakthrough, and Modern Healthcare as validation of its focus on customer success and employee excellence.
