B. Riley Securities appointed Michael Masiuk as Managing Director within its Investment Banking team, expanding the firm’s capabilities across growth capital, M&A advisory, and proprietary deal origination.
Masiuk is based in New York and will focus on corporate and financial sponsor clients across the sports, media, and technology sectors.
His appointment strengthens B. Riley Securities’ coverage of private growth capital, public markets transactions, and strategic advisory assignments.
Masiuk brings more than 25 years of experience spanning investment banking, hedge funds, and the entertainment industry.
His background includes work across public and private capital markets, with experience in growth equity, crossover financings, buyouts, debt financings, and hybrid capital transactions.
B. Riley Securities said Masiuk has built long-standing relationships with founders, operators, institutional investors, and other industry stakeholders.
His work has included advisory assignments involving professional sports leagues and franchises, public and private media companies, and growth-stage technology businesses transitioning toward the public markets.
Masiuk joins B. Riley Securities from Clear Street, where he served as Managing Director, focusing on proprietary deal origination.
Previously, he was a Managing Director at Cantor Fitzgerald and a partner at The Schottenfeld Group.
He holds a B.A. from Saint Anselm College.
