Bailey Equipment & Intralogistics, a third-generation, family-owned forklift dealership, has acquired Equipment Depot’s Washington state operation, marking Bailey’s entry into the Washington market.
As part of the expansion, Bailey will serve as the authorized Logisnext dealer in Washington for Cat Lift Trucks, Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks, and Jungheinrich. The company said it will establish its regional headquarters in Kent, Washington, in the greater Seattle area.
Founded in 1949 and headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, Bailey has grown to 10 locations across Tennessee, North Georgia, and Kentucky. The company said it will bring its “One Material Handling Solution” approach to Washington, offering equipment, warehouse solutions, and intralogistics services to improve efficiency and performance for customers statewide.
Bailey also highlighted its sustainability positioning, noting it is the nation’s first TRUE certified zero-waste forklift dealership, a designation it said aligns with Washington’s environmental priorities.
Operational leadership for the Washington expansion will include Lakota Holder, Bailey’s Director of Operations, who the company said has 14 years of sales, service, and leadership experience with Bailey and has longstanding ties to the state.
