Bain & Company has appointed Cédric Bovy as managing partner of its Amsterdam and Brussels offices and head of its Benelux cluster, effective immediately. Bovy will lead the firm’s business across Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg at a time of rapid growth in the Benelux region, driven by strong client demand across Bain’s practices and capabilities. He brings 20 years of management consulting experience at Bain and has been a partner since 2006.
Previously, Bovy led Bain’s Benelux Private Equity and Financial Investors practice and is a senior partner in the firm’s Consumer Products practice. His experience includes advising financial investors, family offices and private equity-owned companies, with expertise spanning commercial and operational due diligence, financial investor strategy, corporate strategy, portfolio company value creation and performance improvement. He has worked with clients across Europe as well as in the Americas and the Middle East.
Based in Brussels, Bovy has also served as leader of Bain’s Brussels Talent and Human Resources team. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MSc in Business Engineering from the Louvain School of Management (UCL), summa cum laude.
In addition to Bovy’s appointment, Vincent Goffin, a partner in Bain’s Energy & Natural Resources and Private Equity practices, becomes head of the Brussels office. He succeeds Caroline Grauwels, who returns to a full-time client-facing role under the firm’s rotational leadership model.
Bovy succeeds Nicolas Willemot, who led Bain’s Brussels office for more than seven years and its Amsterdam office since 2024. Willemot was recently appointed head of Bain’s global Consumer Products practice and had overseen the integration of the Brussels and Amsterdam offices within the Benelux cluster.
