Baker McKenzie announced that Anna Orlander has rejoined the firm as a partner in its Stockholm office, reinforcing its global M&A and transactional capabilities.

Orlander’s return comes as Baker McKenzie continues to expand its cross-border transactional practice, with a focus on delivering integrated advice across jurisdictions in an increasingly complex global deal environment. She brings experience across private practice and in-house roles, advising on acquisitions, reorganizations, and strategic transactions across the Nordics and beyond.

Her appointment is part of a broader period of growth for the firm’s global transactions practice, which has recently added senior partners across key markets in Europe, the United States, and Asia. The expansion reflects Baker McKenzie’s continued investment in talent to support multinational clients on complex cross-border deals.

With more than 2,700 deal practitioners across over 40 jurisdictions, the firm maintains one of the largest global M&A platforms, advising on more than $600 billion in transactions over the past five years.

Orlander’s addition strengthens the firm’s presence in the Nordic region while contributing to its broader global strategy of building a highly coordinated, client-focused transactional practice.
