Baker McKenzie: Emmanuel Sala Joins The Firm As Partner In Toronto

Global law firm Baker McKenzie recently announced that Emmanuel Sala has joined the firm as a Partner in Toronto, further expanding the firm’s Tax capabilities in Canada.

Emmanuel has a lot of experience advising Canadian and foreign companies on complex domestic and international tax matters with respect to mergers, tax reorganizations, financing transactions and acquisitions. And he also represents taxpayers at all stages of tax disputes with the Canadian tax authorities. Emmanuel has experience advising clients in multiple sectors and has notable experience in the energy, renewable energy, oil & gas and mining sectors. Emmanuel also advises domestic and foreign PE investment funds from creation through various multi-jurisdictional transactions.

He teaches at the Master of Laws (taxation) program jointly sponsored by HEC Montréal and the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal.
