Baker McKenzie: James Wyatt Hired As Partner In Energy & Infrastructure Team In London

Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie announced it has hired James Wyatt, as a partner in its Energy & Infrastructure team in London, strengthening the firm’s global transactional expertise and capabilities.

James joins the firm from K&L Gates. And he has experience advising on project development, project finance, construction, and M&A, with a focus on low-carbon and energy transition technologies such as nuclear, wind, solar, hydropower, green hydrogen, CCUS, and battery storage systems. And he advises clients on structuring, financing, joint ventures, governance, and public-private partnerships in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Baker McKenzie continues to accelerate aggressively its lateral growth strategy to add senior talent to its bench in London. And more recently, the firm hired Michal Berkner as a partner in Corporate M&A, Marie Leppard as an Antitrust and Competition partner, and Indradeep Bhattacharya, a specialist in patent litigation and life sciences, as a partner.
