Baker McKenzie has welcomed Jenny Liu as a Partner in its Transactional Practice, operating from the Firm’s New York and Palo Alto offices. Previously a private equity partner at another major law firm, Jenny advises private equity firms on a range of transactions, including leveraged buyouts and minority investments.
With over 2,500 deal practitioners in more than 40 jurisdictions, Baker McKenzie provides extensive experience in complex cross-border transactions. The firm’s Private Equity group provides comprehensive advice throughout the investment lifecycle, helping clients navigate deal complexities and maximize portfolio value.
Jenny’s hire continues the firm’s global expansion, which has seen the addition of several partners since the start of 2025, including a number from various international locations. She holds a BA from the University of California, San Diego, and a JD from Cornell Law School, and is licensed to practice in New York and California.
