Baker Tilly Names Eric Miles CEO Following Moss Adams Combination

By Amit Chowdhry ● Jan 8, 2026

Baker Tilly announced Eric Miles has assumed the role of chief executive officer, succeeding Jeff Ferro, as the advisory, tax, and assurance firm continues integration and growth following its combination with Moss Adams announced in June.

Miles’ succession had been previously disclosed in connection with the Moss Adams transaction. He now takes the top role as Baker Tilly focuses on expanding capabilities for mid-market clients facing increased complexity across areas such as digital transformation, supply chain shifts, economic volatility, and talent challenges.

Baker Tilly said Miles began his career in public accounting in 1997 and has worked across operations, compliance, accounting, information technology, and fraud prevention. He later led the consulting services organization at Moss Adams, overseeing more than 50 practice areas, before serving as CEO.

As CEO, Baker Tilly said Miles will focus on execution across the firm, aligning strategy and operations to support client needs, drive disciplined growth, and scale the platform while maintaining culture and service standards. Ferro will remain on the Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP board of directors.
