Ball Corporation has appointed Darlene J. Nicosia, CEO of Maker’s Pride, and Sherry L. Buck, former CFO of W. L. Gore & Associates, to its board of directors, adding executives with extensive manufacturing, operations and finance experience.
Nicosia has more than 30 years of operational experience in the food and beverage industry. Before becoming CEO of contract packaged food manufacturer Maker’s Pride, she held several leadership positions at The Coca-Cola Company, including President of Canada and Northeast U.S. and Chief Procurement Officer. She began her career at PepsiCo and Kraft Foods.
Nicosia also served on Foot Locker’s board from 2020 to 2025 and chaired its Audit Committee. At Ball, she will serve on the Nominating/Corporate Governance Committee and Finance Committee.
Buck retired from W. L. Gore & Associates in 2025 after serving for five years as CFO. She previously served as CFO of Waters Corporation from 2017 to 2020 and Libbey from 2012 to 2016, and spent nearly two decades at Whirlpool in senior finance and operating roles after beginning her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Buck currently serves on the board of Lennox International and chairs its Audit Committee. She will join Ball’s Audit Committee and Finance Committee.
Ball reported $13.16 billion in 2025 net sales and has approximately 16,000 employees across more than 65 manufacturing plants and facilities worldwide.
