Barings Provides Financing For Inflexion’s Investment In Medical Consumables Provider Primed Group

Barings has served as a joint lead arranger of secured credit facilities supporting Inflexion’s investment in Primed Group, a German manufacturer and provider of medical consumables and sterilization services. Financial terms of the financing were not disclosed.

Founded in 1946 and headquartered in Halberstadt, Germany, Primed designs, manufactures and distributes certified single-use medical products used by hospitals and other healthcare facilities.

The company employs more than 450 people and operates a vertically integrated manufacturing platform covering the production process from compounding through delivery of the final sterile product.

Primed’s MDR-certified products are used in more than 70 countries.

The business also operates HA2, which Barings describes as one of Europe’s largest medical sterilization platforms.

The transaction supports European private equity firm Inflexion’s investment in the company.

Inflexion manages approximately €20 billion and makes both majority and minority investments in entrepreneurial middle-market businesses, typically targeting companies valued from €50 million to more than €1 billion.

Barings has approximately $502 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2026, and invests across credit, real assets, capital solutions and emerging markets.

For Primed, the transaction provides financing support as Inflexion and management seek to continue expanding the company’s medical technology platform.
