The NOOK 10.1” has a retail price of $129.99. And it is going to available for purchase starting November 14th. Presales started earlier this week at BN.com/NOOK10.1. Between November 22nd through December 26th, the NOOK 10.1 is going to be discounted at $119.99.

And between November 22nd and December 31st, Barnes & Noble has a cookbook bundle promotion where customers can buy the NOOK 10.1”, charging dock, and $50 worth of Good Housekeeping eCookbooks for $159.99.

“The new NOOK 10.1” provides a complete reading and entertainment experience on our biggest display yet,” said Barnes & Noble’s Chief Digital Officer Bill Wood in a statement. “The soft-touch feel and lightweight design make it a perfect holiday gift for readers who want to enjoy their favorite books for hours, while also being able to browse, watch shows, listen to music, or send emails all from one device. The NOOK 10.1” is truly a gamechanger for the NOOK lineup.”

Some of the other specifications built into the NOOK 10.1” include 32GB of storage space, a 2-megapixel front-facing and 2-megapixel rear camera, a headphone jack, up to 8.5 hours of battery life, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and Android operating system with access to Google Play. Plus it has pogo pins so you can easily connect it to a NOOK keyboard and NOOK charging dock. And it charges via Micro USB 2.0.

NOOK customers may also notice an updated user experience on the NOOK 10.1” with a custom home screen with easier access to your current reads and recent purchases. And it has an improved NOOK Bookstore and Library.
