Book retailer Barnes & Noble has released a new NOOK tablet with a 10.1-inch IPS display (1920 x 1200 pixels at 224 ppi), which is the largest size on NOOK tablet ever. And it has 2-in-1 tablet capabilities so you can browse the web, take photos, and send emails.
The NOOK 10.1” has a retail price of $129.99. And it is going to available for purchase starting November 14th. Presales started earlier this week at BN.com/NOOK10.1. Between November 22nd through December 26th, the NOOK 10.1 is going to be discounted at $119.99.
And between November 22nd and December 31st, Barnes & Noble has a cookbook bundle promotion where customers can buy the NOOK 10.1”, charging dock, and $50 worth of Good Housekeeping eCookbooks for $159.99.

The NOOK 10.1” is truly a gamechanger for the NOOK lineup.”
Some of the other specifications built into the NOOK 10.1” include 32GB of storage space, a 2-megapixel front-facing and 2-megapixel rear camera, a headphone jack, up to 8.5 hours of battery life, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and Android operating system with access to Google Play. Plus it has pogo pins so you can easily connect it to a NOOK keyboard and NOOK charging dock. And it charges via Micro USB 2.0.
NOOK customers may also notice an updated user experience on the NOOK 10.1” with a custom home screen with easier access to your current reads and recent purchases. And it has an improved NOOK Bookstore and Library.
