Barron Industries Acquires TriTech Titanium Parts Assets

By Amit Chowdhry • May 6, 2026

Barron Industries, an Oxford, Michigan-based manufacturer, has acquired the titanium casting assets and process knowledge of TriTech Titanium Parts in Detroit, Michigan. The acquisition responds to growing customer demand for increased capacity in vacuum-melt alloy castings, with the new facility expected to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The acquired assets will enable Barron Industries to set up a new facility dedicated to melting and pouring titanium, primarily serving the aerospace, defense, and industrial and commercial industries. The expansion builds on Barron’s existing precision machined castings and assemblies business, which serves aerospace and defense original equipment manufacturers using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum-based alloys. Barron will work closely with TriTech customers to transfer tooling and business, aiming to provide as seamless a transition as possible.

The move represents a natural progression for Barron Industries, which brings 103 years of history in metal casting and 43 years in the precision investment casting business. The company has developed an advanced manufacturing facility at its Oxford, Michigan campus and is investing in additional assets and equipment to support high-quality titanium castings and assemblies production across all of its product lines.

This acquisition marks the beginning of what Barron Industries describes as further significant investment to expand capacity and drive growth in support of its aerospace and defense customers. The experienced teams at both Barron and TriTech will work together during the transition and setup process to ensure continuity and quality across operations.
