Barton Associates announced the acquisition of LocumsCollective, a Salt Lake City-based managed service provider focused on the locum tenens staffing industry. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition expands Barton Associates’ workforce solutions platform and supports the company’s transition from a locum tenens staffing provider into a broader workforce solutions organization. Barton said LocumsCollective adds a managed service provider model designed to help healthcare organizations access and manage locum tenens talent more effectively.
LocumsCollective will continue operating under the leadership of founder Matt Bennett, who will remain President of the company following the acquisition.
The companies said the combined organization will focus on improving workforce solutions across the locum tenens ecosystem by enhancing provider matching, reducing operational friction, supporting transparent communication, and improving value creation for healthcare stakeholders.
Barton Associates provides locum tenens staffing and workforce solutions services for hospitals, health systems, clinics, private practices, and other healthcare organizations nationwide. The company supports staffing across physician, nurse practitioner, physician associate, CRNA, dental, and additional healthcare specialties.
LocumsCollective operates as a managed service provider platform designed to improve collaboration between healthcare organizations and staffing agencies through a facilitated operational model focused on quality, transparency, and execution.
