BayMark Health Services has completed a strategic transaction with its existing lenders that materially strengthens the company’s balance sheet and provides additional growth capital. The transaction received unanimous support across BayMark’s capital structure and is intended to create a more stable financial foundation for continued investment in addiction-treatment services.
BayMark provides substance-use-disorder treatment and recovery services across North America and serves more than 70,000 patients each day. The company’s network includes outpatient and inpatient programs, allowing it to provide a continuum of care for individuals seeking treatment for opioid use disorder and other forms of addiction.
Management said the new capital structure will support investment in clinical teams, treatment facilities, and care-delivery capabilities. BayMark emphasized that the transaction does not interrupt operations: treatment sites, outpatient and inpatient programs, and clinical services remain fully operational, while existing contracts and service agreements remain in effect.
The company did not describe changes to ownership in the announcement, focusing instead on the improvement to leverage and liquidity achieved through its lender-supported restructuring. BayMark said the agreement complements strong operating performance and gives it a clearer path toward sustainable long-term growth.
BayMark positions itself as a comprehensive provider of evidence-based addiction treatment and recovery services. With the lender transaction completed, the company plans to continue expanding treatment access while maintaining the quality and availability of care across its existing network.
The announcement also reflects a broader effort to scale the core business while preserving the operating capabilities, customer relationships, and market expertise already in place. Management’s near-term focus is on execution of the transaction or growth plan described above, integration of the relevant teams and technology, and continued investment in the products and services that support existing customers. The next phase will focus on execution, continuity for customers and partners, and scaling the core platform described in the announcement.
