Beacon Pointe Advisors has added Katie Cullen as Chief Growth and Integration Officer and Sarah Green as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer as the registered investment adviser expands its executive leadership team.
Cullen will bring experience in strategic execution, executive coaching, leadership development, and organizational growth to Beacon Pointe’s Practice Management, M&A, and Strategic Integration teams.
She previously led BlackRock Business Consulting, working with financial services executives and growth-focused advisors on strategy, business performance, leadership development, and high-net-worth client service. She previously held strategy and innovation positions in the RIA industry and at Schwab Advisor Services.
Cullen also spent 11 years as a U.S. Army Reserve Logistics Officer.
Green will lead Beacon Pointe’s risk and compliance functions and joins with experience spanning financial services regulation, enforcement, and compliance.
She previously served as Vanguard’s Global Head of Financial Crimes and Code of Conduct, overseeing programs involving know-your-customer requirements, anti-money laundering, trade surveillance, and code-of-ethics issues.
Green previously led FINRA’s dedicated AML examination unit and held several positions at the SEC, including roles managing broker-dealer examination programs and working on enforcement matters and regulatory training.
Beacon Pointe said the appointments are intended to help the firm pursue growth while strengthening the compliance, regulatory, and risk infrastructure supporting its expansion.
