Beacon Security Raises $13 Million In Seed Funding As ARR Grows More Than 300%

Beacon Security has raised $13 million in seed funding to expand its agentic cybersecurity platform and provide human analysts and AI agents with trusted, contextualized security data. Notable Capital led the round, with participation from Holly Ventures, AlphaDrive Ventures, SVCI and Jefferies Family Office.

More than 60 cybersecurity founders and chief information security officers also participated, including founders from Talon, Descope, Gem Security, Dig Security and Cider Security.

Beacon will use the funding to accelerate product development and expand its platform as enterprises adopt AI agents for cybersecurity operations.

The New York-based company reported annual recurring revenue growth of more than 300% during the first half of 2026.

Beacon has been adopted by dozens of enterprises across financial services, insurance, healthcare, hospitality and technology.

The company is developing an AI-native security platform that enables autonomous agents and human security teams to prevent, detect, investigate and respond to cyberthreats.

Beacon believes many existing security systems were not designed for environments where AI is both a business tool and a potential attack surface.

Security teams often collect information from a large number of products, including endpoint tools, identity systems, cloud platforms, network monitoring products and threat intelligence services.

This information may use inconsistent formats, contain duplicate records or lack the context required to determine whether activity represents a genuine threat.

Beacon’s Data Layer combines telemetry from multiple vendors and normalizes, enriches and connects the information before sending it to human analysts, AI agents or external security systems.

The platform also resolves entities across data sources, helping teams determine when separate records relate to the same employee, device, application or account.

This process is intended to give security agents a cleaner and more complete understanding of an organization’s environment.

Beacon also continuously maps available data sources against security threats and compliance requirements.

The system can identify visibility gaps before attackers exploit areas that are not adequately monitored.

Beacon’s Agentic Cybersecurity Work Platform allows security teams to use AI agents for detection engineering, investigations, security posture management and shadow AI analysis.

Shadow AI refers to artificial intelligence applications and tools used within an organization without formal approval or oversight from security and technology teams.

Beacon provides an open environment where customers can deploy the company’s agents or build their own workflows using security data and organizational context.

The company also offers Beacon Agents, a growing library of specialized agents designed for common cybersecurity tasks.

These agents are trained with input from professionals with offensive security and nation-state cyber defense experience.

Beacon said its agents can identify activity involving cross-source lateral movement, rapidly executed AI-enabled attacks and previously unseen attacker techniques.

The company plans to add agents for alert triage, investigations and shadow AI analysis.

Beacon’s platform is intended to reduce the amount of manual work required to prepare security data before analysts or AI systems can use it.

By automating normalization and enrichment, the company aims to help organizations deploy security agents without requiring large internal engineering projects.

Beacon also seeks to reduce costs by routing only relevant and properly prepared data into downstream security products.

The company was founded in 2024 by CEO Gal Tal-Hochberg, Or Mattatia and Iddo Israely.

Tal-Hochberg previously founded HiredScore, which was acquired by Workday for $520 million.

Mattatia and Israely bring experience in nation-state cyber defense, intelligence and offensive security.

The company recently launched its agentic data layer, which operates between telemetry sources and downstream security tools.

Beacon said Fortune 500 security teams in regulated industries are using the platform to address coverage gaps, identify threats and support AI-driven security operations.

The new funding will help Beacon expand its technology as enterprises seek to use autonomous agents without compromising data quality, governance or oversight.

KEY QUOTES:

“The acceleration of AI agents in the enterprise is creating a distinct need for a legible context layer for cyber defenders, which is fueling a fundamentally new security architecture. We built Beacon to solve these challenges by providing the trusted data layer that allows organizations to deploy security agents compliantly and effectively. With this investment, we are transforming security for native AI usage to drive real-time posture, detection and response, deep hunting, and operational analysis of security estates at an unprecedented efficiency, scale and complexity.”

Gal Tal-Hochberg, CEO and Co-Founder of Beacon Security

“We are growing fast, and Beacon lets our security data keep pace. It gives us the agility to evolve on our own terms, and it has become part of how we run security day to day, increasingly with our agents doing that data work autonomously. Beacon is a core part of how we are building security for what comes next.”

Olindo Verillo, Director of Detection and Response at Cerebras

“Every CISO knows the real bottleneck isn’t detection; it’s trust in your own data. That problem doesn’t go away when you add agents; it gets less forgiving. The data-trust gap is exactly what Beacon is bridging in the AI era, bringing context to the security teams and their agentic workforce.”
