Beaconcure announced the appointment of Seth Houston as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 13, 2026. Houston will lead Beaconcure through its next phase of growth as life sciences organizations increasingly adopt artificial intelligence to improve the quality, speed, and efficiency of clinical development.
Beaconcure is a provider of trusted AI solutions for clinical development. The company works with biopharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations to modernize validation, quality, regulatory, and clinical analysis workflows.
Houston brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across healthcare technology, enterprise software, and life sciences. His background includes building and scaling commercial organizations, developing strategic partnerships, and helping pharmaceutical and medical technology companies use software to improve operations.
Before joining Beaconcure, Houston served as Chief Commercial Officer at MediSpend. In that role, he led the company’s global commercial organization, including sales, account management, solution engineering, partner alliances, and marketing.
Earlier in his career, Houston held executive leadership roles at IQVIA, OpenQ, Wolters Kluwer Health, and Proscape Technologies. Across those roles, he helped life sciences organizations modernize operations through SaaS and data-driven technology solutions.
Beaconcure said Houston’s appointment comes as demand grows for AI solutions that can operate in regulated clinical development environments. The company’s platform is designed to combine automation and AI with transparency, governance, compliance, and audit readiness.
