Bearing, a physical security operations software company built natively on ServiceNow, has closed an oversubscribed $4.5 million seed round to support team growth and accelerate product development aimed at automating physical security workflows with ServiceNow AI Agents. The round was led by AZ-VC, with continued investment from High Alpha and participation from PHX Ventures and Lightbank.
Bearing is positioning its platform around a broader enterprise push to unify physical security with corporate security functions and integrate those workflows into the enterprise system of record. The company argues that physical security data, workflows, and assets have long been managed across fragmented systems, limiting visibility and coordination as organizations expand device and asset management beyond traditional IT into facilities, operational technology, and physical infrastructure.
Bearing says it is the first solution to bring physical security operations into ServiceNow, enabling enterprises to extend ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric into physical security while leveraging ServiceNow’s AI-powered workflows and AI agents as part of day-to-day operations rather than as a disconnected tool. With the new funding, the company plans to expand its team and further build out product capabilities.
