Beats Electronics (also known as Beats by Dre), an audio product subsidiary under Apple, recently announced the pre-order and availability dates for its highly-anticipated Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds.
The Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds were originally announced last month and it features the same wireless technology as Apple’s second generation of AirPods. However, Beats designed these wireless earbuds for more of a fitness customer base. For example, the Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless buds wrap around the ear with earhooks and it features rubber ear tips. Plus it also has background noise cancelation features and two beam-forming microphones on each of the Beats Powerbeats Pro earbuds.

You can also activate Siri by saying “Hey Siri” into the microphones just like the second-generation AirPods.
Inside of the Beats Powerbeats Pro is Apple’s proprietary H1 chipset — which makes Bluetooth pairing with iOS devices very seamless. And there are sensors in the Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds that automatically play and pause audio when you take them in and out of your ears. Beats also improved the audio quality in the Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds.
In terms of battery life, each wireless earbud has 9 hours on average. And with the charging case, you can use the wireless earbuds for more than 24 hours.
How long does it take to charge the Beats Powerbeats Pro wireless earbuds? Using Fast Fuel technology, it takes five minutes in the case to gain 1.5 hours of music playback or 4.5 hours with a fifteen-minute charge.
