Beecher Reagan announced that David Rio has joined the retained executive search firm as Managing Director, strengthening its capabilities across professional services, technology-enabled services, and private equity-backed companies.
Rio brings experience from global executive search firm HIEC, where he played a key role in building the company’s U.S. business. Over more than four years, he led U.S. search mandates and expanded the firm’s work with professional services, software, technology, and private equity clients.
Prior to HIEC, Rio spent nearly seven years at PwC, where he co-led experienced-hire recruitment across the firm’s consulting industries before transitioning into executive search. His background spans consulting, internal talent leadership, and executive search advisory roles.
At Beecher Reagan, Rio will focus on supporting consulting and technology-enabled services clients across publicly traded companies, private partnerships, and sponsor-backed businesses.
Founded in 2009, Beecher Reagan specializes in executive placements for private equity, consulting, business services, and technology services organizations. The firm said it has completed more than 1,500 executive placements, maintains a 99% completion rate, and has achieved a 93% retention rate over 36 months.
The appointment reflects Beecher Reagan’s strategy of expanding its expertise in sectors where clients are seeking leaders capable of driving growth and transformation.
