Bertram Capital Invests In Percopo Coatings Through Ignite Fund

Bertram Capital has invested in Percopo Coatings Company, establishing the coatings and restoration services business as the fifth platform investment in Bertram’s Ignite fund. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Percopo Coatings was founded in 2003 by Mike and Victoria Percopo and is headquartered in Longwood, Florida.

The company provides painting, specialty coatings and restoration services across the Southeastern U.S.

Percopo serves commercial, industrial and institutional customers, with project experience spanning airports, resorts, theme parks, schools, government facilities and other complex environments.

Its broader capabilities include interior and exterior painting, waterproofing, seamless flooring, sandblasting, fireproofing and intumescent coatings.

The company has built its model around self-performing multiple trades, allowing general contractors, developers and facility owners to work with a single provider across several aspects of a project.

Bertram plans to support the next phase of Percopo’s growth, including through Bertram Labs, the private equity firm’s internal technology organization.

Percopo is also seeking acquisitions and partnerships that can expand its geographic presence and add additional operators to the platform.

Cook M&A and Ashurst Perkins Coie supported the transaction.
