Bertram Capital completed an investment in Percopo Coatings Company, a provider of coatings and restoration services for commercial, industrial, and institutional properties across the Southeastern United States.
Percopo Coatings represents the fifth platform investment in Bertram’s Ignite fund.
Founded in 2003 by Mike and Victoria Percopo and headquartered in Longwood, Florida, Percopo Coatings has built its business around self-performing multiple trades for general contractors, developers, and facility owners.
The company’s capabilities include interior and exterior painting, specialty coatings, waterproofing, seamless flooring, sandblasting, fireproofing and intumescent coatings, and restoration services.
Percopo serves commercial, institutional, hospitality, aviation, education, and government customers.
Its project experience includes airports, resorts, theme parks, schools, and federal buildings.
Bertram plans to support Percopo’s next phase of growth through its operational resources and Bertram Labs, the private equity firm’s in-house technology team.
The partnership is expected to focus on strengthening Percopo’s operations, expanding its geographic reach, and supporting additional growth opportunities across the trade services market.
Percopo is also actively pursuing acquisition and partnership opportunities that can broaden its footprint and add other high-quality operators to the platform.
Bertram said its prior experience investing in scaled trade services platforms gives it familiarity with the operational demands, customer relationships, and entrepreneurial execution required in the sector.
The investment adds Percopo to Bertram’s Ignite portfolio and extends the firm’s exposure to specialty trade services.
