Bertram Capital has sold ReVamp Companies, a residential concrete coatings, fencing, and decking installation provider, to middle-market private equity firm Calera Capital, marking Bertram’s first realization from Fund IV and its 22nd exit since launching in 2006.
ReVamp is headquartered in Freeport, Illinois, and operates a national residential services platform focused on concrete coating solutions for garages, basements, patios, pools, driveways, and other indoor and outdoor areas, along with residential fencing services with an emphasis on vinyl offerings. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Bertram invested in ReVamp in February 2022 and said it helped scale the business through organic initiatives and add-on acquisitions, expanding the company’s geographic footprint, broadening services, and investing in customer lead generation and operational capabilities. Bertram also highlighted its internal resources, including Bertram Labs, as part of its value-creation approach.
Support: Piper Sandler advised on the sale process, led by Rob Parker and Eric Van Dam, with Houlihan Lokey also assisting, led by Tony Meixelsperger.
