Bestie Bite announced that it has raised a new €1.5 million (about $1.7 million) funding round as the company looks to accelerate its expansion in the United States and continue building its platform for hospitality discovery and restaurant marketing.

The latest financing comes just five months after the company announced a previous $700,000 investment round. Including the new capital, Bestie Bite has raised more than €2.2 million (about $2.5 million) to date.

Founded with the goal of making hospitality discovery more authentic for consumers and digital marketing more accessible for restaurants and other businesses, Bestie Bite enables users to discover venues through video reviews while helping hospitality operators grow their online presence without the complexity and expense associated with traditional marketing channels.

Over the past several months, the company has expanded from Italy into San Francisco as part of its broader U.S. growth strategy. Bestie Bite said its platform has now surpassed 100,000 video reviews spanning more than 80 countries and has built a community consisting of tens of thousands of active users.

The company has also experienced rapid organizational growth, expanding from a team of three employees to nearly eight people. Bestie Bite said the new funding will support further investments in product development, talent acquisition, and geographic expansion while reinforcing its position in Italy and increasing its presence in the U.S. market.

The round was backed by the Grassi family and E80 Group. Bestie Bite thanked its investors, partners, businesses, and user community for supporting the company’s growth and vision.

The company said it plans to continue developing technologies that connect consumers with trusted recommendations while providing restaurants and hospitality businesses with tools to strengthen customer engagement and online visibility.
