Plant-based meat alternative company Beyond Meat Inc (NASDAQ: BYND) has signed a compelling new deal with Wawa, which is a chain of convenience stores on the East Coast. Wawa is especially popular for its hot breakfast products and full deli with a touch-screen ordering system for sandwiches, sides, and a variety of beverages. And now it is selling menu items featuring the Beyond Breakfast Sausage from Beyond Meat (NASDAQ: BYND).

The Beyond Breakfast Sausage is made with simple plant-based ingredients like peas and brown rice (without GMOs, soy, gluten, or artificially produced ingredients). And the Beyond Breakfast Sausage is available as part of a Sizzli breakfast sandwich served with egg and cheese on a bagel. The Beyond Breakfast Sausage is also available to order and customize on the touch screen system in breakfast bowls, built to order bagel sandwiches, and breakfast burritos.

The Beyond Breakfast Sausage will be available in Wawa’s products across 650 Wawa locations in its Mid-Atlantic operating area of PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, and Washington, D.C. And the 220 locations in Florida will offer the Beyond Breakfast Sausage sandwich starting on August 10.

Last year, Beyond Meat also partnered with Dunkin’ Brands and Hardee’s for offering menu items featuring the plant-based sausage. And earlier this year, Starbucks locations in Canada start offering a Beyond Meat cheddar and egg sandwich at all the locations. Consumers can also buy the plant-based sausages from retail chains in classic and spicy options.
