Binance Adds Options On More Than 1,000 U.S. Stocks And ETFs

Binance announced that it will begin offering stock options on more than 1,000 selected U.S. stocks and ETFs to eligible users outside the United States, expanding its push into traditional financial products.

The options will be offered through Nest Trading Limited, Binance’s Abu Dhabi Global Market-regulated broker-dealer. Nest will act as the introducing broker and route orders to Alpaca Securities LLC, doing business as Alpaca Clearing, for execution, clearing, settlement and custody.

Binance said the offering will not be available to U.S. users.

The launch builds on Binance’s existing U.S. equities offering, which provides access to more than 7,000 stocks and ETFs through Nest Trading’s relationship with Alpaca.

Eligible Binance users can now access crypto assets, traditional stocks and ETFs, tokenized securities through bStocks, equity-linked perpetual futures and stock options from a single account.

The expansion comes as Binance reports rapidly growing demand for traditional financial products on its platform.

TradFi perpetual futures trading volume reached approximately $433.4 billion in August 2026, about 15 times the $29.5 billion recorded in January.

Equity-linked perpetual futures accounted for approximately 79% of Binance’s TradFi perpetual activity in August, generating about $342.9 billion in volume.

That compares with approximately $410.9 million in January, representing growth of more than 800 times over the period.

Binance also said users in emerging markets represented more than 80% of direct stock trading volume during the first week after its U.S. equities offering launched.

The new stock options will be physically settled. When an option is exercised, eligible users will receive or deliver the underlying shares of the applicable U.S.-listed stock or ETF, with Alpaca holding the shares in custody on behalf of Binance users.

Retail users who qualify for options trading will initially be able to purchase calls and puts. Binance noted that the maximum potential loss for buyers of these contracts is generally limited to the premium paid.

Fees will primarily be paid in USDC, with support for BNB, USDT, USD1 and $U where available.

For most U.S. stock options, trading hours will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Time, while certain ETF and ETN options may trade until 4:15 p.m.

Binance plans to add additional stock option listings over time.

The company said the expansion is part of its broader effort to develop a multi-asset platform that combines digital assets with access to traditional securities and derivatives.

KEY QUOTE:

“Stock options are an important next step in Binance’s evolution into a fuller multi-asset platform. By adding options on selected U.S. stocks and ETFs, we are expanding the tools available to users who want to participate in equity markets, manage exposure, and access strategies that have historically been offered through traditional brokers, all from one Binance account.”
