Bingham & Taylor Acquired By Charlotte Pipe And Neenah Foundry

Bingham & Taylor, a long-standing manufacturer of underground infrastructure access solutions for water and gas utilities throughout North America, announced that Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company have acquired it in conjunction with Neenah Foundry Company. The company, which has been in operation for 175 years, is recognized for its 100% American-made meter and valve access products, including boxes, lids, and pits.

Headquartered in Culpeper, Virginia, Bingham & Taylor maintains a cast iron foundry in Culpeper and plastics injection-molding and blow-molding plants in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Its products are widely installed across municipal and utility systems throughout the continent, contributing to its position as a well-recognized supplier within the water and gas industry.

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry, along with Neenah Foundry, both bring a longstanding history of manufacturing experience and established operations within the waterworks and municipal infrastructure markets. Charlotte Pipe acquired Neenah Enterprises in 2022, and the new acquisition of Bingham & Taylor builds on that expansion within the water infrastructure sector.

Bingham & Taylor will continue to operate under its brand name while gaining access to broader resources, manufacturing capabilities, and commercial reach shared across the acquiring organizations. The companies emphasized their alignment in values, manufacturing heritage, and commitment to American-based production. Distributors and customers can expect continuity in product availability and brand identity, while also benefiting from an expanded product portfolio.
