BioConsortia raised $15 million in equity financing to accelerate commercialization of its microbial agricultural technologies.
The investment came from an entity affiliated with John Pasquesi, Managing Member of existing investor Otter Capital.
BioConsortia plans to use the capital to expand manufacturing, regulatory, and commercial infrastructure supporting its lead products.
The company’s Zaffre biostimulant is designed to improve crop emergence, stand establishment, yield, and performance under cold or heat stress.
Across three seasons of corn trials, Zaffre delivered an average yield improvement of 4.4 bushels per acre.
BioConsortia’s Always N technology enables crops to biologically fix nitrogen and reduce reliance on synthetic fertilizer.
Always N adoption through partner H&T in New Zealand increased from approximately 5% in 2024 to around 50% in 2025 and is projected to reach roughly 80% in 2026.
Commercial activity is also expanding across the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
BioConsortia has a commercial partnership with The Mosaic Company in the Americas.
The company is also advancing biofungicides, bionematicides, bioinsecticides, biofertilizers, and other biological agricultural products.
