Bland announced a $50 million Series C financing round, bringing the company’s total funding to more than $100 million. The round was led by Dell Technologies Capital and included participation from HubSpot Ventures, Archerman Capital, Tribeca Venture Partners, and existing investors, including Emergence Capital, Upfront Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, Y Combinator, Max Levchin, Piotr Dąbkowski, and Jeff Lawson.

Founded less than three years ago, Bland develops proprietary voice AI models designed for long, complex, and high-stakes conversations. The company serves more than 250 enterprise customers, including Samsara, Kin Insurance, and CNO Financial Group.

Unlike many voice AI providers that rely on third-party foundation models, Bland builds its own models specifically for voice interactions. The platform currently handles more than 3.5 million calls per week across healthcare, financial services, and other regulated industries where accuracy and continuity are critical.

According to the company, typical conversations can last between 30 and 45 minutes and often involve unpredictable and non-linear interactions that require context tracking and real-time adaptation. Bland said its platform enables organizations to automate entire categories of customer interactions rather than simply deflecting call volume.

The new funding will be used to expand the company’s research efforts, grow its engineering team, and further scale the platform across industries where conversations are central to operations.

KEY QUOTES:

“Most voice AI systems are built for simple interactions. We are focused on the calls that are hardest to automate. The ones that are long, non-linear, and where things can go wrong at any point.”

“They’re not linear. They’re meandering. They require judgment. That’s where the real work is.”

“Voice is its own domain. If you want to handle these kinds of calls, you have to build specifically for it.”

Isaiah Granet, CEO and Co-Founder of Bland

“Voice is one of the hardest problems in AI, and Bland is one of the few companies tackling it at the level required for real-world deployment. Their decision to build models in-house and focus on complex, high-stakes interactions has positioned them ahead of the market.”
