Blee Raises $20 Million Series A To Expand AI Content Governance Platform

Blee has raised a $20 million Series A, bringing total funding for the AI-first marketing compliance platform to $27 million. The round was co-led by Fin Capital and SMBC Fin Atlas Beyond Fund, with participation from Hannah Grey VC and National Bank of Canada. Existing investors Y Combinator, Penny Jar Capital, Cardumen Capital and Treasury also participated.

Blee is developing technology designed to help legal, compliance and brand teams govern the increasing amount of enterprise content produced with artificial intelligence.

The platform addresses a widening gap between the speed at which marketing organizations can create material using AI and the ability of legal and compliance teams to manually review that output.

Blee operates alongside the content creation systems marketing teams already use and applies AI to provide feedback on regulatory, legal, compliance and brand requirements before material enters formal review.

The company says customers using its platform have reduced average review times by up to 65%.

Blee manages workflows from initial submission through approval and comment cycles while maintaining an audit trail.

After content is published, the platform can continue monitoring material, including influencer social media and websites, for regulatory compliance and adherence to brand standards.

The company is targeting organizations facing rapidly expanding volumes of video campaigns, affiliate marketing, digital advertisements and other content generated or assisted by AI.

Blee currently works with enterprises across financial services, travel, life sciences and consumer brands, including SoFi Technologies.

The company’s annual recurring revenue increased 10 times between June 2025 and June 2026, and Blee said additional enterprise customer announcements are expected.

Blee plans to use the Series A proceeds to deepen its technology across the entire content lifecycle, expand into additional industries and geographic markets, and reach more legal, compliance, marketing and brand teams at large enterprises.

Founded in 2022, Blee centralizes regulatory requirements, internal policies and brand standards into a single system designed to create consistent and defensible governance processes.

The New York-based company says its technology is now used by dozens of Fortune 500 global enterprises.

KEY QUOTES:

“Marketing teams are producing more content, across more channels, faster than ever, and legal and compliance teams are still expected to review all of it manually, with tools that weren’t built for the job. Whether it’s video campaigns, affiliate content, or digital ads, the volume will only grow as AI agents automate creation. The companies that set up their content governance layer now are going to be in a very different position than the ones that wait.”

Guy Shahar, Founder and CEO of Blee

“Every legal operations leader I know is being asked the same thing: do more with less, and faster. It’s hard to do through process design alone. The velocity of the business has outrun manual review. AI-enabled compliance is what turns oversight from an aspiration into an evidenced, continuous control environment.”

Mike Russell, Head of Global Legal Operations at Expedia Group

“We’ve been watching the problem of content growth for enterprise marketing teams across industries and within our network for years. Blee is the first platform we’ve seen that’s actually built for the scale of it.”

Matthew Mann, General Partner at Fin Capital

“By giving marketing teams the capabilities they need to resolve friction between departments, Blee helps organizations scale content creation while maintaining appropriate governance. We believe these capabilities will be increasingly valuable to organizations across their global operations, including the clients we serve today and in the future.”
