Blitzy, the autonomous enterprise software development platform, has closed a $200 million funding round at a $1.4 billion valuation, marking one of the largest raises to date in the agentic coding category. The round was led by Northzone, with new investors including PSG, Battery Ventures, Jump Capital, Morgan Creek Digital, and Defiant, alongside continued support from Flybridge, Link Ventures, NFX, Picus Capital, and Venture Guides. Strategic investments came from Liberty Mutual Strategic Ventures, Erie Strategic Ventures, and BAL Ventures.
Blitzy was co-founded by Brian Elliott, a serial entrepreneur and former Army Ranger, and Sid Pardeshi, an NVIDIA Master Inventor who holds over 27 patents related to neural networks, image generation, and AI-driven interface translation. The platform is built around the thesis that frontier models alone are insufficient for enterprise software development and that extended inference-time compute combined with deep codebase understanding is necessary to achieve truly autonomous development at scale. Rather than relying on IDE copilots or single-agent tools, Blitzy autonomously reverse-engineers existing environments, builds a dynamic knowledge graph of the enterprise codebase, and coordinates thousands of agents in parallel for uninterrupted runs lasting days to weeks.
The company has achieved a record-breaking score of 66.5% on the SWE-Bench Pro independent benchmark, surpassing other major incumbents. The platform is already deployed across dozens of Global 2000 enterprises spanning 10 industries and has more than doubled its headcount in the past six months. Blitzy claims to deliver 5x engineering velocity for some of the world’s largest enterprise customers, handling codebases ranging from one million to more than 100 million lines of code.
Proceeds from the round will fund expansion of Blitzy’s research team, scaling of go-to-market functions, and growth of its partnership ecosystem, with a particular focus on regulated industries including government, financial services, and insurance.
KEY QUOTES:
“This financing is strong validation of our platform and underscores the pressing need for a more autonomous and rigorous approach to autonomous software development in the enterprise. We believed that delivering production-ready code for the enterprise would come from fusing hyperscaled agent orchestration and a system that deeply understands the legacy codebases it is working within.”
Brian Elliott, Co-Founder and CEO, Blitzy
“Blitzy has created a truly paradigm-shifting product in one of the largest markets in the world: Autonomous AI Coding. They have meaningfully shifted outcomes for several Fortune 500 enterprises, and are well on their way to creating a category-defining platform.”
Sanjot Malhi, Partner, Northzone
