Blizzard: ‘Not A Bug’ List Released For World Of Warcraft Classic

Blizzard has unveiled a “not a bug list” for World of Warcraft Classic since beta testers kept sending in reports about bugs for what were actually released as features for the game back in 2006.

World of Warcraft was originally released in 2004 and the World of Warcraft Classic is intended to make gamers feel nostalgic before The Burning Crusade expansion arrived in January 2007.

In order to play the original version of the game, they would have to use custom servers like Nostalrius. But Blizzard shut down Nostalrius in 2016.

“As we’ve discussed before, the nature of WoW Classic sometimes invokes different memories for different players, and this leads to certain misconceptions for some about what is or isn’t working as intended,” said Blizzard in the “not a bug list.”

This list includes 13 items like “Using the “‘Automatic Quest Tracking’ option does not auto-track newly accepted quests” and “feared players and NPCs run fast.”

One of the items in the list is that the “Your skill in Protection increased to 15” message appears upon leveling. This message got added to World of Warcraft as part of patch 1.12.1.

World of Warcraft Classic is going to be officially released on August 26 and August 27. And the game will launch in stages. The first stage will be released as the game’s original state as of March 2005.

World of Warcraft Classic will also be part of the standard subscription for World of Warcraft. And players can gain access without playing an additional fee. Plus it will not be sold separately.

Every World of Warcraft Classic player will start at level 1. And if you had any characters previously, they will still be available in World of Warcraft, but they will not be playable in World of Warcraft Classic.
